TVC Responsibilities:
As a Home Groups Deacon, I assist in the ministerial care of leaders and Home Group members, assist the Home Groups team in planning and execution, and mentor Home Group leaders.

When and how did the Lord save you?
The Lord showed me my need for a Savior at a very young age as I saw my own sin. I have loved Him as He has grown me through all the stages of life. There have been some low and tough times, periods of sadness and even bitterness, but God always gives perspective and changes my heart to draw me back to Him and the “fullness of joy” that is at His right hand.

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
We came to TVC in 2020 when we moved to the Metroplex to be near our kids and grandkids during the lonely time of Covid. We already were familiar with the great theology of TVC.

If you had to give a TED Talk, what subject would you choose to speak on, and why?
Hospitality, because I want to have not only a welcoming home but be a welcoming person to others. This is not always natural for everyone, but paying attention to the clues of how to love others well can be pointed out and passed on to others.

If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be?
Marine biologist

Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
Rob and Laura Petrie on The Dick Van Dyke Show! They have been around all my life and have always made me laugh with their silly escapades.
